I bought this house in November,1999.
This house was built by John Carman circa 1890. I call it Miss Carmans' house. Her grandparents were John T. and Lydia Carman.
Their son, Miss Edna Carmans' parents ( William and ? also lived here.
Edna Carman was born here in 1910. Her mother died in 1911. She lived here with her Father and her Grandparents.
She was the last Carman to live here. She died in 1995.
Edna Carman lived here her entire life.
I recently dug up the concrete floor where the outhouse is attached to the back of the shed in this picture. The shed is still here.
The porch is now two rooms .
The large maples nearest the hose( one behind and one one the other side)were gone in 1999.
The Sassafras trees in the upper left corner are gone. They were about 80 feet tall. They all died between 2014 and 2016. I had them cut down after one of them fell on my camper in 2016.
