My grandfather and grandmother, Will and Velma Creswell, were the original owners of the house in this picture. It was built in 1914. My father (Robert Creswell) was born in it, my siblings and I grew up there, my brother (Bill Creswell) and his family lived there for awhile, and my nephew and his wife (Andy and Sarah Creswell) are raising their three children there now. The farm was originally purchased by my great-great-grandfather (James Creswell). (I believe it was in the 1860's). The one-time home of my great-grandparents (Ebenezer and Jenny Creswell) is east of this about a half mile and is the current home of my brother (Bill Creswell) and his wife (Ruth).
