3885 Israel Somers Rd. My family bought this farm in the mid 60's and we moved there in the fall of '66. The house is still there along with the two middle sized outbuildings. The white structure at the back of the house was a raised summer kitchen that my parents eventually removed and had an enclosed back porch and garage built on. The large barn is gone and has been replaced with a new barn. There is also now a pole barn in about the middle of the picture. My parents moved to Lakengren in 1986 and my brother and his family moved onto the farm and have continued the farming legacy.
