This is the house where I grew up. It was across the road from Monroe school and was burned down in '83 i think. The property belongs to Billy Jay Murphy who lives on the same road.
That's 9143 Monroe Central Road! I know- I grew up there...
Wish I could see a picture from around 1969!
Wasn't 83 aunt Cathy cause I was born in 83 and remember being in there a couple times.
My grandparents lived here. Barbara and Clifford Hobbs. Burned down in 1984 or 1985.
Hi Erica,
Do you have any vivid memories of this property that you could share with us? Sorry to hear the home burned down in 1985, did your grandparents rebuild the home after the fire?
Hello Alexis, no I don't have any other pictures. They did not rebuild after it burnt down πͺ
I do remember the out house out back and the chicken coop off the way. Remember grandma had asparagus growing wild in the yard, I remember going and walking around the property after the fire and picking raw asparagus from the yard and eating it while walking the empty yard.
It still costs WAY too much to be able to purchase a print of this house. could you cut some poeple a break????
Shed is gone; old "building" is gone. Guessing that when the fire department burnt down the house, they burnt all the standing buildings and trees also. Yes, getting a picture is too expensive.
