Originally owned by Johann Heinrich Brinkmann in the early 1800's. He was my great-great-grandfather. His son, Johann Heinrich (known as John Henry) Brinkmann inherited the farm after him. And his son, Harry Edward Brinkman, my grandfather, inherited it. It was lost from the family during the Great Depression of the 1930s.
