This has been identified as the Rufus Riehle Farm in 1963 photos (Photo 20-DRO-3 and 4). This farmstead was demolished for the c1990s development on Golfview Drive, set back behind the abandoned B&O Ohio Division rail line on the long former farm lane at about 995 Anderson Station Road. The railroad would be off the lower left corner, and the photo looks NW to the meander of Biers Run.
The house might have been old enough to witness the construction of the original c1850 Marietta & Cincinnati Railroad. The farm also included the "Anderson Works," a rudimentary Hopewell earthwork discovered as the subdivision was being built. The flight path for this roll is WAY out of scale.
My grandad's farm. I spent my Sundays there riding his horse.
