This was the home of Dr. Peter Allen, built in 1821, and recorded in the Library of Congress as a historical landmark. It was purchased in 1954 by Alice Blaemire, who restored it, and lived there until she passed in 2004. It still stands, and a three year remodeling and addition has just been completed. This was my boyhood home.
