Deemer's store

My parents met here early 50s. He pumped gas for John Deemer. I was told that she'd buy gas several times a day, just to see him. I can remember being there several times as a child. They had a diner, soda fountain, some groceries, gas & a full service garage. Years later I dated a girl who lived just north of here.

It became Bix Furniture and Shirley's Antiques in the 70's owned by Lawrence and Shirley Moyer. It was sold to the King family who demolished all the buildings and home on the property.
