Spring Family home 3067 Oldtown Valley Rd SE New Philadelphia. Still in family. Built in 1950 on ground purchased that was part of Henry Maurer Farm. Intersection of county rd 24 and county rd 58. Still looks near the same as here after all these years except a pole building was added in the 70's down in back of home and fencing is gone

Foundation of house was nearly completed but the terrible winter storm "Storm of the century" or also known as " Appalachian storm" came north that Thanksgiving in 1950 hitting western Pa. and eastern Ohio hard. It delayed further construction on home and did damage the foundation that had to be repaired. House was then completed 1951 and still remains in family.as of today.
