My 2x gr grandparents, Samuel Scott Hays and Cyrena Anna Waterston Hays, lived here in 1894. Then my 1x gr grandparents, Llyod William Hays and Mary Emily Boyer Hays, raise their family there; My grandfather, James Alton Hays, uncle, Eugune Lloyd Hays, and uncle, Homer H Hays. Homer stayed on the land after his parents died until his death in 2008. The state purchased the land and all buildings were demolished. My grandfather, Jim Hays, lived 1/8 of a mile east of their farm.
