This is the Samuel J. Diehl farm. The farm was called Cove Creek Ayrshires Sam J. Diehl & Son's. He loved his Ayrshire, won all over at the fairs. County fairs, plus Harrisburg,Ohio,West Virginia. He was so proud to get premium breeder. His children were Bill, N.Jane, Terry (Lloyd) Diehl. I married Terry, my name is Gloria. The farm was soooo nice. If you look closely you can see the trailer in the left back side of picture we went to house keeping in. The bull pen was in front of us. We hooked up to the water when the Bulls drank we had no water !!! We had alot of fun on the farm. My husband loved the Ayrshire too. The farm is no longer there, only the farm house, spring house & the old bull pen. Oh my where did the time go ? I loved it all & learned alot from Terry & Pap.

What was the name of Sam Diehl's cow, that he won with at the national show?
