Ritchey Hilltop Farm - my home as I grew up - owned & operated by Ralph & Jean Ritchey - later, son Wayne, became partner in the dairy farm. The property is located off Route 26 North in Bedford County, Hopewell Township. Turn off Rt 26N onto Piper's Hill Road - just across the bridge at the first bend in the road, turn right to drive up the lane to the farm. My family lived there & worked the farm from 1954 through the early 90s when it was sold to an out-of-area man. Currently, the farm is owned by Clair Rhodes, who raises & boards elk. The barn was remodeled, the silos torn down & a larger one built. The house was replaced with a log house.
