Farm of Lloyd Koontz (1900-1970) on Koontz Rd., Bedford County, PA. He was a farmer and a skilled leather worker. His saddle shop is located directly to the left of the house in the smaller brick building. He made harnesses, belts, brief cases, doctors' bags and ladies handbags. He was known for very decorative hand-tooled western saddles. His shop was a gathering place for all the locals of Pleasant Valley.
