Quakertown PA-National Auto Parts on the corner on RT 309 and Pumping station RD

I was told this building was once known as King Arthur's Court and was a restaurant or dance club. Before that it was the home of Mini-Tour, the home of an S-Gauge model railroad.

Spent many weekend nights at King Arthur’s Court I the late 60’s. Even worked there from time to time.

King Arthur’s court was a nightclub/bar in the early-mid seventies catering to the younger crowd. I only ever saw it at night, and it was close to 59 years ago, but except for the signs it looks pretty much the same.

Close to 49 years ago not 59 years.

Spent many a night each weekend there in the 70’s. It was a great club for the underage crowd

Used to go there in High School to o see a group called the High Keys. They had great harmony and did Three Dog Night Covers.

Played in a band called Lord's Estate. The place had two stages so two bands would rotate sets. Wonderful memories.

Used to go there around 1967- 69. Was a great place to listen to music and meet other people. Weren’t many places for underage kids to go back then. If my memory serves me right, I saw Jay and the Americans perform there.

I did a few roadie gigs for a college band out of Lebanon Valley College who were calls The Grease Band in the mid seventies. They did fifties and early sixties Do-wop stuff similar to Shanana. What a blast and memory.

Played in a local band called the Banks Of Doom. We played at the Court a number of times. Fun place!!

Very cool memmeries of the court, some 50 years ago when I roddied for a band called fuzzy bunny, and was starting my own band at the time.

Correction above,memories,roadied

It would be so awesome if someone took Over the old court, and turned it back into the new King Arthurs Court music venue, for new bands, and some older bands that once played there ,can play there again,,JUST A THOUGHT.
