This farm is on Springhouse Ln in Springtown, PA where it intersects with Knecht Bridge Rd. Knecht covered bridge is in the upper left of the picture and intersects with Slifer Valley Rd on the other side. The covered bridge still exists today and is in excellent condition. I was told that the author of the original Lassie stories lived here and the author's dog, Lassie, is buried here.
