Comments

Now a residence for Franciscan Friars, this beautiful mansion was built by the famous steel magnate Charles Schwab. It was built for his mother in the late 1800s, a 44-room summer estate on 1,000 acres (4 km2) in Loretto, Pennsylvania, called "ImmergrΓΌn" (German for "evergreen"). The gardens are beautiful and are maintained by St. Francis University.
