Wilmer Sherry's farm above Duman Dam

This was my grandparents farm and my family's current home. My grandpa, Wilmer Sherry, passed; but my grandmother Frances still resides with us. The property spans both sides of the roadway. My parents, as well as an aunt and and uncle eventually put homes on some of the land. Other than the addition/change of a few out-buildings, trees and some changes to the home the farm remains mostly the same.

This was my home growing up, my husband and I, currently live on the farm, and my oldest daughter and her family live in the farm house with my mom. This is just so awesome to see. It's amazing to see how somethings have changed and some that are exactly the same!
