This is the house at the old Dowlin Forge Papermill. Supposedly it belonged to James Dowlin.

This was my Mother’s, Ruth Jane Dorsey’s, house from her birth 1924 until the 50’s or so. Her mother was Jane Nevin Shryock Dorsey and her father was Clarence Dorsey. I believe the Shryock brothers may have been Owen and Samuel or may have been their father Samuel and a brother.
