Homer and Gladys Myers house . My grandparents. Grandpa mined coal and farmed this land. One hard working man. Grandma was a saint. Spent so much time there. Great memories!

Gladys and Homer were my great-grandparents. Homer passed before I was even born but I got to have Grandma Gladys until I was 21 years old. She was one amazing lady. I have so very many memories from this house.

This was our neighbors growing up as kids. Homer used to let us TRY to help bail hay when we were kids. Maybe we were more than trouble than help , but he always had the time for us kids. He treated us to hay ride each fall. It was a very sad day for the neighborhood when he passed away. We were truly blessed with the best people and place to grow up.

My mother (Betty Myers) grew up in that house! Many great memories made there with my cousins ❀️ Didn’t know much about pigs, chickens, or cows growing up in Erie so we learned a lot there. Homer and Gladys Myers were the best grandparents a child could wantπŸ₯°
