This is the original McGuire farm, bought in 1958 by Byron II and Betty McKernan. They raised 6 children there - Gerald, Byron III, James, Jeffrey, Bonnie and Elizabeth. Gerald and Byron III still reside. In Clinton County. The McKernan family occupied it until sometime in the 1990’s when Clinton County Landfill Authority took it on a deed of taking. They subsequently sold it to IDC (Industrial Development Commission.)
