The newly constructed home in the upper right corner is 147 Garden Avenue (see comments on photo 36 of Film Roll 3). This farmhouse, barn and all outbuildings have been demolished. This farm would have been on the corner of N. Deodate Road at the intersection of Route 230. Notice the Citgo sign across from the house on Route 230. The existence of a gas station here pre-dates my memory but currently Tool Shed of America is located where this service station used to be.

I have no memory of this farm even though I would frequently travel with my grandparents on this section of Route 230 north of Elizabethtown. We would have passed this on the way to The Big M which was our version of WalMart in the late 60s and early 70s.

The house was torn down in the late sixties or early seventies and the barn burned soon after.
