Intersection of 39 and Colonial Road, had a big pond in the back. 3Bs covers the right side of the pond.
Actually it is all filled in.
We were constantly at that pond when I was a kid. It was called Ammon's pond. There was a little strip of land to the east, and then anther pond known as Guldemond's pond.
Both ponds were fed from a springhouse on Springhouse Lane.
I swam there too as a kid around 1966 when the Ammon family lived there. My folks were friends of family. Cold water I recall.
