My family lives here, at 14600 Burnt Mill Rd, Shippensburg, PA. My husband has lived here since the mid-70s. The farm was in his family since the 40s. The farm was actually in my family during the Civil War. Anna Watson walked to the top of the hill behind the barn in this picture to listen to the canons at Gettysburg. She had a son in that battle. He came home shortly after Gettysburg. We love our farm and its history. Hopefully, one of our four children will cherish it after we're gone.
