I grew upon these homes. My parents Fred Jr & Della Robinson own(ed) this. My father originally built the white 3 bedroom wood frame home in the early 1950's for himself, my mom & my two oldest siblings. The address at that time was R.R. # 1; Mercersburg. The family grew to include a total of six children, the youngest whom is seen standing near the front corner of the new home. By the beginning of 1970, it was very evident that a new home needed to be built, & is seen as the single story concrete block home in the photo. The white home was torn down and the concrete block is now covered by stone & stucco. The porch shown at the side has since, been enclosed & is now covered with white siding. A sidewalk was installed to come to the enclosed porch &then continues a meandering course around to the front of the hometown a large covered porch that overlooks the valley below the home. Although my father passed away in 1998, my mother still owns and continues to occupy the home at what is now 7550 Robinson Road; Mercersburg.
