This photo shows what is currently the Copperhead Grille, located at 5737 Route 378, Center Valley, Upper Saucon, PA. When this photo was taken, it was the home of Paul's Cantina, which was owned by Paul Chernay, who was also the owner of Chernay Printing in Coopersburg. At different times it was known as The Heidelberg Inn, We the People, and Saucon Inn.
When the building was purchased by the Dontas family in the mid to late 1980s, it became the The Camelot Restaurant, a fine dining restaurant. That closed around 1994 and the building sat empty for a number of years. The same family opened the Copperhead Grille at the same location around 2001 and it has since grown to become a very popular restaurant in the area.
The road in the foreground is Route 378 and behind the building is Old Bethlehem Pike. The house to the left of the restaurant is no longer standing and is now the site of additional parking for the restaurant.
The barn in the background is no longer standing, however the farmhouse still exists, but is vacant.
