My father was a farmer hired by Art Rush, the farm was owned by the Strassburgers. The house on the right with the barn was where we lived for more that a decade.
I remember Ms. Eisenberger, Mrs. Strassburger, her son Peter. My neighbor, the Solidays and our friends Steve and Scott, went to Wissahickon School district.
I spent many years with my siblings here. The best years of our childhood was her at Normandy Farms. In the name of progress all things change. I am however grateful that the barn still remains, in this "now" retirement/assisted living community.
