The two sections of Green Pond Road north and south of the Lehigh Valley Thruway (US Rte 22) in Bethlehem Township used to be connected before the thruway was built. This photo shows how the thruway cut off Green Pond Road; it shows the home just south of the thruway. When the cloverleaf for the Rte 33/Rte 22 interchange was built in the 1970s, the southern portion obliterated this section of Green Pond Road and these buildings (which would be under the southeast cloverleaf).
Originally Beiry Farm. Now Green Pond Nursery. Only 17 acres remain with this farm.
