This is the west end of the village of Pillow in Dauphin County. Today these buildings line Mill Street, which can be seen below the barn in this photo. In the years since, State Route 225 has been built through the area just above these buildings. It would cross this photo from left to right and continue across the Mahantongo Creek off the right side of the photo. This photo was taken facing south. Compare with photos 8-WNO-31 and 8-WNO-32 from 1992 to see where the road was constructed in relation to these buildings.
