This is Greenbrier, a village along Schwaben Creek Road, which runs east to west across the bottom of the photo. Greenbrier Road lead south off the top left corner of the photo. The commerical use building on the left is also visible in photo 15-BNO-31. The white building in the middle was Grange Hall 1148, where the Greenbrier Grange Band would practice. My great-grandfather, Robert Kauffman, played in this band. Another Grange Band member was Danny Snyder, who played trombone and baritone. He passed away in 2009 and the building is now owned by his son. The homes in the photo remain today. This photo was taken facing SSE.
