I own this, it’s actually 3530 Raintree Rd!

Hi Crysta! How wonderful to hear from someone who has a personal connection to one of our aerial photos in York County, PA. Since the photo was taken in 1963, would you happen to know if might have owned the house then? Can you share with us what has changed in the area or on the property since then? We're also curious to know if any farming took place there.

Yes! It was owned by Arthur H Bahn and Hattie S Bahn. They owned it from 1949 to 1972. It’s a little over 9 acres and we have the complete chain of title for it thanks to the local historical society. They had a grape arbor out the back door but beyond that we’re still tracking info down on past farming. It was built in the 1870s and we are going to work with the local historical society to gather as much history on the farm as we can! This picture has actually been -extremely- helpful in determining a timeline for addition of buildings on the property, it’s the oldest clear image that we have found and all of the structures in this photo are still here! I’m happy to share anything we learn about it!
