This homeplace as it was photographed was the Maxie and Cissy Pearson residence located off Nicholson Road in Trenton, SC. The original home pictured burned down and a similar home rebuilt (not sure on date, late 1980s-very early 1990s). This small farm sits on Pearson Pond that we assume was named about the time Google maps was invented.
