I went to Rendon elementary and we went to first grade through seventh then we had to transfer and go to Mansfield to junior high
Hi Karen,
Do you know if this building is still functioning as a school today? Which grade was your favorite while going to school there?
this school was completely bulldozed no trace left returned to pasture what a shame. All the grades were my favorite 1/9 we had the best teachers and kids. miss you Karen Brooks
I have wanted to see a picture of what the old Rendon School look like for years! I went there when it was called Tarver Rendon and was just an elementary school in the 1980.s They had a whole new building by then. The only thing that we had left from the old days was the building from the 1940s that got torn down the year after my 4th grade year. Now they've torn down anything that was left of the school a few years back and built a brand new building down the road in 2013. My son got to go to the new tarverendon. It's amazing to me how Time Marches On and the new generations keep coming. I love hearing about these old memories though.
