Hillandale Farm: Bought by Wayne and Elizabeth Doncaster in 1958. Still owned by the Doncaster family and still in operation today (2016), Small family farm, approx. 450 acres, milking 50-55 cows. The garage on the house to the left is gone, the barn silo is gone. In it's place Dad built an attached storage "room" for sawdust. The big cherry tree in back of the barn blew down a few years ago. I was born in 1960 and grew up here. 5 of us kids. 4 girls (Colleen, Becky, Barbara, Sara) and one boy Wayne Jr. (who now manages the farm with his wife; they have 3 children that grew up there)and there's the sugarhouse behind some trees that got washed away in a flood years ago. There is a sugar woods up back and we made maple syrup.
