This is the house I grew up in. My mother and father bought it in 1967 and sold it around 1977-78, I have driven by it in the last 5 years and what has changed is the newer owners painted the house a darker color (blue I think) and made a half circle driveway around the Lilac Tree near the entrance to the house. The garage is still there and the barn is still there. I am not sure if the old bus and shed we used to play in all the time is still there. Wow! What a great photo!!

I Remember it quite well! I remember jumping from the shed to the bus! I remember we had a big garden right hand side of the house. The big hollow maple tree too. The lilac tree in front of the house is the one I use to have to cut my switches off!

Just checked out our house on Google Earth. Wow, has it changed. The barn and garage are gone. The bus and shed out back are gone. The house has been added on on the left of the house and the driveway goes up by the left side of the house to a really huge garage in back of the house. I would buy it back if I could.

I think it was 1968, because I was in 3rd grade when I started at Morgan school. Then sold it in 1978. There was a little path from the driveway to the house but out front there were stone steps halfway down to the road (You can kind of see them in the picture). Remember the bedroom with no windows we called the attic? NEVER went in there because Mom used to hear footsteps when she was alone in the house. And lots of times at night in the winter, we would hear nails popping. I used to watch TV from their bedroom through the heat register after I was told to go to bed. I remember every square inch of that house including the creepy basement! And I remember cutting lilac switches too, Bud!
