The old woolen mill in Ludlow, Vt., looking north along depot street. The numbers on the roof are the approximate latitude and longitude (43 deg. 24 min. N, 72 deg. 42 min W.). Why they painted those on the roof I have absolutely no idea. The complex now houses several small businesses.

After thinking some more on the latitude, longitude and arrow, I think it is a directional marker intended to help pilots. The arrow is pointing northwest in the general direction of the Rutland/Clarendon airport, 15 miles away.

At this time it is the Ludlow General Electric or GE for short
