The house in this photo was an historic house called Trenton built circa 1810 and belonged to several well-known Buckingham residents including John Fairchild and Alexander Trenton Moseley. At one time the house served as the dormitory for a private girls' school that was situated to the right of it and run by Fairchild and his wife. It was demolished in 2007.

Correction: Alexander Trent Moseley. The Moseley family was a prominent family in Buckingham and many descendants still reside in Buckingham today. Among other things, Alexander served as a postmaster, was active in the Masons, and was at one time the sheriff of the county.
