Is this Roy Clark's grandparents homestead, which he called the Old Home Place? I;ve only seen it on Google Earth but it sure looks like the place where Roy grew up.
The house is gone, which is very sad. I cannot believe that anyone who appreciates history, especially the history of a famous person would let this house be taken down. This was the home of Roy Clark's grandparents in Meherrin VA, and it was razed in 2016. I wish I had but one brick or any piece of that homestead.
