My partents, Roy and Katherine Chewning's farm at 13537 Post Oak Road near Paytes, VA. Roy and Katherine raised 8 children, 4 girls and 4 boys here. Roy and Katherine lived their entire lives here from 1936, until 1999 & 2008 respectively. The garage was destroyed by a lightning strike in the summer of 1989. Hence a new garage was built. Other bulidings still remain as shown here. Son Irvin now owns the property.
