This photo is of the old clubhouse and swimming pool that used to exist at the Front Royal Country Club (now Front Royal Golf Club). Sadly, the old clubhouse and swimming pool were lost to a flood in 1996. The clubhouse was replaced with a new one in 1998 at a different location on the property, but the swimming pool was never replaced. I used to go swimming in the pool when I was a teenager and young adult in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
