This is where my father grew up. My grandparents eventually tore down this house and built a one-story ranch in its place. Then my parents built a house next door to it so this is where I and my 3 siblings grew up as well! The house is facing the New River in this picture because the road was next to the river but after the road flooded so often, it was moved to higher ground.
