Biggins Store /Post Office and one time coal company store

My mother, Martina Walls, was Postmaster at this store. She left that position in 1981. This building is no longer standing. But the safe that was inside the store is still there. This use to be the neighborhood hangout. Each evening after supper time, folks gathered here to visit and share the local happenings. People were close with their neighbors back then. So much was lost when the post office and store closed.
