This was taken before the flood of Nov.4-5, 1985. The bridge was taken out and the power plant was underwater ground floor. Most of the trees and every thing on the riverbank and most of the town to the left of the picture was wiped out.

I would guess that this picture was taken in the summer of 1985 considering that on Nov.4-5, 1985 the plant employees were trapped on the top floor while the river wiped out most of the town across the bridge and the bridge was destroy

My grandfather, Richard DeGolyer, was one of the employees caught on the top floor. He just passed away recently.
