The barn went down in straight line winds (unconfirmed tornado) in June 2013. The front porch on the house was moved to the East side and an attached garage and breezeway were built on the North Side. The small machine shed (closest to the pines)also lost it's tin in the 2013 storm. All the trees you see in the picture have since died and new ones were planted. My family moved to the house in 1981 (?). I grew up there and then my husband and I purchased the farm in 2001. I'm now raising my three children there.
