This is my grandfather Elias Mahoney's farm. I currently own and operate it raising beef Cattle. The farm was founded in 1890 and I am the 5th generation to farm here. Since this picture the barn and silo are gone due to a fire in 1996. Since then 3 Harvestores and additional outbuildings have been added along with a stave silo built in the same place the one pictured was. The brick house, grainery and machine shed remain the same.
