My husband and I bought this farm from his parents in 1964. With the exception of the old part of the barn we built every building on this farm including the largest silo. Actually the machine shed was hired built but the barn addition and the house we built with the help of a few neighbors. Raised our four boys there, many good times. We understood that Lovestads homesteaded that farm, later owned by Chet and Mildred Stephens then Henry and Margaret Rinehart followed by Gerald and Diane Rinehart in 1964, sold in 2000 to Ben Swarey.
