This is the farm my father bought when I was in elementary school. He renovated the house and used it as a rental and we continued living in town. The Strmiska and Lueloff families both lived here for a long time each. We had 340 acres in all and the acres behind this farmhouse included some prime trout fishing and excellent deer hunting. Back in the day there were a number of pheasants also. The fields were good farmland but they produced a ton of rocks every time they were plowed. My brothers and I would get out of school to go and "pick rocks".
