Main Street in Mt Sterling, Wisconsin

Yes, my mom and dad owned the two story house on the far right back in the 1950's. I went to the Mount Sterling grade school when I was 5, that would of been in 1954. We would stop by the cheese factory and they would let my sister and me grab some fresh cheese curds out of the vats. The house across the street was used by the phone company and that's where the phone operator connected all calls at that time. There was a was a saw mill back about a block behind our house. I remember we had a hand water pump in our kitchen and an outhouse back behind our house.
