This farm has been in the Becker family since 1909 when my granddad bought it. Then my dad Herb bought it and farmed it until 1978 when he sold the cows but continued renting until I purchased it in 1980. The house has minor updates, the cowyard fence is gone as is the machine shed just visible through the trees. A large 42x99 shed sits just above the barn. The barn now has a steel green roof, not the pink it originally had. Shown in foreground is the tobacco fields that helped pay many bills.
