This was my Uncle Richard Hemenway farm he is my father's twin brother he was married to my mom's sister they had two daughters Aledrea and Bonetta we used to follow the plow up in the field picking rock alot of rocks they never had running water inside the house but the well was out in front of the house where you had to throw the switch to turn on the pump and fill a bucket to bring into the house and pour into the sink to do the dishes then drain it out into a pan under the sink to take outside and dump it out had a nuw furnace my Aunt bought in the Attic of the little house but it was never used as there was a wood burning barell stove in the living room. No bathroom was ever in the house had to walk outside probly thirty yards to the outhouse my Aunt divorced him because of the plumbing situation and his struggle with drinking every day which is not the way to raise two little girls or boys for that matter.
