My father, Henry Pfaff, bought this farm in the 1950's as a second farm, "the Other Place". It adjoined our place to the west and southwest. We farmed it until the mid 1960's. The house has since been replaced. There was a ruined silo and pit on the other side of the barn. The small fields on the other side of the creek (the line of trees in mid distance) were mostly sacrifice corn to the deer and raccoon. A bit to the right at the top of the picture are a few caves along the bluff.
